Paul Frankeur (29 June 1905 - 27 October 1974) was a French actor who appeared in films by Jacques Tati (Jour de fête) and Luis Buñuel (The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Phantom of Liberty).
The town was featured in the movie Jour de Fête (1949) by Jacques Tati, which tells of a small amusement fair in a town and of the adventures of a rural postman.
Zur Namensfeier (French: Jour de fête, English: Feastday or Name day), op. 115, is a symphonic overture in C major by Ludwig van Beethoven completed in 1815, and first performed on Christmas Day 1815.
