Mervin Thomas "Bud" Connolly (May 25, 1901 – June 12, 1964) was a shortstop in Major League Baseball who played for the Boston Red Sox in the 1925 season.
He was the starting catcher for Philadelphia until Mickey Cochrane joined the team in 1925.
Homer Estell Ezzell (February 28, 1896 – August 3, 1976) was a third baseman in Major League Baseball who played from 1923 through 1925 for the St. Louis Browns (1923) and Boston Red Sox (1924–25).
