Robert Daniel Didier (born February 16, 1949 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States) is a former catcher in Major League Baseball who played for three different teams from 1969 through 1974.
The Orioles' system of the time was celebrated for developing young pitching, and after six seasons in that job, Starrette became a Major League pitching coach for the 1974 Atlanta Braves.
He was also a minor league manager, including a stint as the one and only manager for the Kinston Expos who began operation in 1974 and folded at the end of the season.
Robert Walter Sperring (born October 10, 1949 in San Francisco, California) was a baseball player who played for the Chicago Cubs from 1974 to 1976 and the Houston Astros in 1977.
He managed in the Triple-A Pacific Coast League from 1973–1976 as skipper of the Albuquerque Dukes, the Dodgers' top minor league affiliate, winning a division title in 1974.
