Denmark was the focus of a 2009 series of articles on Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) about climate change that coincided with the Copenhagen Summit in the country of Denmark.

Eddsworld was noticed by the organizers of the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference who requested the creation of an episode about climate change, which was used in the opening ceremony of the conference.

At the end of 2008 he was invited by Elliot Morley, the former GLOBE International’s President, to be part of the new International Commission on Climate and Energy Security that was launched in Washington DC to back the works of Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark, in advance of the Copenhagen Conference on Climate Change that would take place at the end of 2009.
