Rags and Tatters was Premiered in Toronto international Film Festival 2013, then partecipated in the official copitition in London International Film Festival and was the firest arabic film in the compition, and screened in many other festivals like Abu Dhabi Film Festival and Cinemed in Montpelier.
These have been exhibited at several international film festivals, Emirates, Brno, Cambridge, Bite The Mango, Cape Town, Durban and Leeds among them.
The film was developed through The Sundance Institute and was supported by The Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Baghdad City of Culture of the Arab World 2013, Abu Dhabi Film Festival - Sanad Fund, Creative England, San Sebastian Cinema in Motion.
Azabal won the Black Pearl Award 2010 (Abu Dhabi Film Festival) for Best Actress for her role in the film Incendies.
