The College Green features Galbreath Chapel, the spire of which, topped with a brass weather vane, is modeled after that of the portico of Nash's All Souls Church in London.

As a public speaker, Alan Kreider has taken part in a debate on the arms race with Marshal of the Royal Air Force The Lord Cameron of Balhousie as part of the London Lectures on Contemporary Christianity at All Souls Church, Langham Place (1982) and with Lord Trefgarne, Edward Leigh MP, and Canon Paul Oestreicher, at the Cambridge Union Society (1983).
It is made in serpentine from The Lizard and is carried on a pedestal of Aberdeen granite.
The younger group with whom Howitt became associated were the Langham Place feminists, notably her close friend the artist Barbara Leigh Smith, along with whom she joined Rossetti's Folio Club.
