Althea Currier (born 1941) was born in 1941 in Baileyville, Maine, and moved to Southern California in the late 1950s.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Crane's wife of 64 years, Althea, stated "A lot of people, if it was a hot day and there was no air conditioning, they'd take off their coat to play. But not Irving Crane."
Her TV credits include the 2007 Doctor Who two-part Human Nature/"The Family of Blood", and as Althea in "These Being the Words of Marcus Tullius Cicero" and "Testudo et Lepus" (episodes in the series Rome).
