She has appeared in concerts as a featured performer alongside important figures in jazz, including Urbie Green, Pat Metheny, Clark Terry, Scott Hamilton, Hank Jones, Roy Haynes, Philly Joe Jones, and Annie Ross.

In 1957, at the invitation of Ozzie Cadena of Savoy Records, he recorded an album of his own compositions with a group of American musicians which included, among others, Donald Byrd, Idrees Sulieman, Frank Rehak, Hal McKusick, Eddie Costa and George Duvivier and, on one track, the singer Annie Ross.
From 1961 to 1964, he played backup for Lambert, Hendricks and Ross, who together also recorded a vocal version of "Little Pony".
In 1981, he again arranged for Annie Ross and Georgie Fame in a collaboration on what was to be Hoagy Carmichael's last recording, In Hoagland.
