Hoxha was loaned out to fellow Albanian Superliga side Apolonia Fier at the beginning of the 2009-2010 season, the young goalkeeper was sent to Apolonia in order to gain more experience and with the departure of Erjon Dine at Apolonia there would be no one except fellow young goalkeeper Egland Haxho guarding the posts of the Fier club.
