Ben-Gal was the subject of solo shows at museums such as the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art (2002, 2009); Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel, Switzerland (2008); and Sudden Poverty at the Aspen Art Museum, Colorado, United States (2007); and he has participated in various group shows, including DARK at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam, and as part of the Venice Biennial, 2003.
She was recently included in the group exhibitions: …drawling, stretching and fainting in coils…, Fest-Spiele+ 2007, Pinakothek der Moderne and Nationaltheater, Munich, Germany (2007); Sculptors Drawing, Aspen Art Museum, Aspen, Colorado (2007); and Space Is the Place, organized by Independent Curators International and traveling to six venues throughout the United States from 2006 to 2008.
In 2012 Thompson created a helium-filled copy of a sculpture by Michael Heizer, for an official Fourth of July float for the Aspen Art Museum.
Pruitt has exhibited extensively in New York and internationally; in 2013 the Aspen Art Museum held his mid-career retrospective.
He is a member of the board of trustees of the Guggenheim Museum, Aspen Art Museum and he has for the past three years been a co-chairman of the Americans for the Arts awards.
