Barrie worked for many years at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, winning the Moonsnail award for "Best Documentary" for his work on "Theatre On The Mulgrave Road" at the Atlantic Film Festival.
Betts has won numerous awards for his acting career including the Atlantic Film Festival, Moonsnail for Best Male Actor in 1997 for his role in Terminal Lunch as Red Braid and many other awards won from festivals in his home province of New Brunswick.
