Bear River, Minnesota

Bear River is located within Morcom Township in Saint Louis County; and also located within Bearville Township in Itasca County.

Bear River is the home town of the Minnesota Twins mascot TC Bear.

Greasy pole

The Bear River Cherry Carnival in Bear River, Nova Scotia offers $100 every year to the first person to walk out their greased pole and grab a Canada flag nailed to the end of the pole.


Mokelumne River

Below Salt Springs it receives the Bear River from the north and then passes through the smaller Tiger Creek Reservoir before joining with the Middle Fork southeast of Pine Grove.
