In June 2013, Franks was selected for the England C national team and won his first cap in a 6–1 victory over Bermuda.

The initial first team squad included a number of full Bermudian international players, notably Stephen Astwood, Damico Coddington, Darius Cox, Devaun DeGraff, Timothy Figureido, Damon Ming, John Barry Nusum, Michael Parsons, Jelani Scott and Kwame Steede, all of whom had represented their country in various World Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifying games.
He then played three 1970 FIFA World Cup qualification matches, all three wins, the first over Canada and the next two over Bermuda.
He made his England C team debut on 4 June 2013, coming on as a half time substitute and scoring a hat-trick against Bermuda at the Bermuda National Stadium.
In 1973, Ivanow he earned his first cap with the senior national team when he came on for Mike Winters in 4-0 loss to Bermuda.
Fidelia earned his one cap with the national team in a 3-1 win over Bermuda on October 7, 1979 when he came on for Greg Villa.
