Alain Blondel (born 7 December 1962 in Petit-Quevilly, Seine-Maritime) is a retired French decathlete.
He was identified in 1942, by Holger Dyggve, as Jean II of Nesle (near Amiens), who was nicknamed 'Blondel' for his long blond hair.
In 1996 her projects included: You Don't Miss the Water, a music-theater piece, in collaboration with noted poet Cornelius Eady, produced by the Music Theatre Group; and the premiere of Women In The Dunes, a dance piece created by Blondel Cummings for the Japan Society and Mu Lan-Pi.
Inspiration for the design of this Beaux Arts building came from the Place de la Concorde in Paris as well as the work of French architect and theorist Francois Blondel.
Put under the direction of Raymond Lemaire, Jean-Pierre Blondel and Pierre Laconte, this urbanistic project saw the first students arrive in 1972.
