Funky Monks is a 1991 documentary (also the title of a song from the 1991 album Blood Sugar Sex Magik) about the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers and the recording of their highly successful 1991 Warner Bros. debut Blood Sugar Sex Magik.
This song is not to be confused with the Red Hot Chili Peppers song of the same name which is track 12 on their 1991 album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, or with the Dio song of the same name that is the 5th track on Dream Evil.
It was released in Australia and Japan as a bonus to Blood Sugar Sex Magik in a separate jewel case in 1994.
