Alan Ainscow

Born in Bolton, Lancashire, Ainscow began his career with Blackpool as an apprentice, making his debut when then-Seasiders manager, Bob Stokoe, picked him to play in the 1971 Anglo-Italian Cup.

Peter Suddaby
