On July 27, U.S. Congressman Bobby Rush of Illinois, chairman of the Energy and Commerce Commerce, Trade and Consumer Protection Subcommittee, asked to meet with Stern regarding the Donaghy matter.
Most of the village is in Illinois' 3rd congressional district which is represented by William Lipinski (D-Chicago); the area south of 115th Street and east of Harlem Avenue, and also between 114th Place and 115th Street from Harlem to Oak Park Avenue, is in the Illinois' 1st congressional district which is represented by Bobby Rush (D-Chicago).

Lane, Peach, Chris Beard, Kelly Richey, Big Walter Smith, Rita Chiarelli, Fruteland Jackson, Diunna Greenleaf, Rico McFarland, and Johnny Rawls.
The Act was sponsored by Commerce Committee Chairman Joe Barton (R-Texas), Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), Rep. Charles Pickering (R-Miss.) and Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.).
Remaining active throughout the 1990s, Hodges appeared on albums by American R&B musicians Rufus Thomas and Bobby Rush.
