Colony High School

In the graduating class of 2007 there were several D-1 athletes, including Omar Bolden (Arizona State University), Chris Givens (Boise State University), Maurice Shaw (University of Idaho) Ryan Paez (University of San Diego).


Antwaun Carter

After limited scholarship offers coming out of high school, he enrolled at Sacramento City College, eventually drawing attention from Boise State University head coach Dan Hawkins, and transferred to join Boise State's 'tailback by committee' approach as a short yardage and goal line back.

Bobby Hull

Bart Hull was a standout running back for the Boise State University Bronco's football team in the late eighties and 1990, and played with the Ottawa Rough Riders and Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL as well as one season of professional indoor football prior to recurring injuries.

Phoenix Christian Junior/Senior High School

Notable alumni include NFL quarterback Tim Rattay; Vonda Kay Van Dyke, 1965 Miss America; Steve Green, a gospel singer, University of Wyoming football letterman Jeff Smith, Anthony Stannard, and Sean Bowman, University of Arizona football letterman Aaron Huisman, Washington State University football letterman Jimmy Wilson, and Boise State University football letterman Kyle Gingg.

Rusty Morrison

She has also served as a visiting poet at a number of colleges and universities, including the University of Redlands, Redlands, California; University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona; Boise State University, Boise, Idaho; Marylhurst University, Marylhurst, Oregon, and Milikin University, Decatur, Illinois.

Tony Knap

After one season as an assistant with the BC Lions in 1967, he succeeded Lyle Smith as head coach at Boise College in 1968, soon to become "Boise State College" (and BSU in 1974).

Youth for Western Civilization

YWC had chapters at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt University, American University, Elon University, the University of Connecticut-Storrs, Liberty University, Boise State University, Bentley University, and Towson University; there was also a chapter at Providence College which is recognized by the national organization, but not by the school.
