This mainly uses Class 170 diesel multiple units with some services early in the morning and late evening using Class 153 or Class 156.
From 2011 there is an hourly service, usually operated by a Class 156; however, Class 158 are occasionally sighted.
If the plan is successful either Class 320 or Class 318 would be used on Whifflet routes instead of current stock Class 156 and Class 158 (prior to the electrification).
