The 28th Weather Squadron was reactivated on March 1, 1949, at Bushy Park

Modeligo GAA

An under 16 hurling championship in the west of the county was won in 2001, when Naomh Brid beat An Gaeltacht at Bushy Park.

Surbiton Hockey Club

The first competitive match was played on 3rd February 1875 against Teddington in Bushy Park, winning by two goals to one and the club remained unbeaten until 26th January 1878.
