Harry Eckler of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame was one of the owners of the Mercury Night club along with Joe Krol of the Football Hall of Fame and Sam Luftspring of the Boxing Hall of Fame.

In 1998, she garnered honorary inductions in the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and the Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame.
After Puhl's retirement in 1991, he was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 and to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 1995.
