Education in Peru

El Colegio del Príncipe, established by Royal Decree of King Carlos III after the expulsion of the Jesuits, was the former "college of chiefs" of the native nobility, created during the reign of Viceroy Francisco de Borja y Aragón Príncipe de Esquilache in Lima.

San Ángel Inn

It was initially built by the Carmelites, for the purpose of becoming a monastery, but official records show that the concession was granted by Carlos III to the Counts of Pinillas and the Marquis of Sierra Nevada.

Sebastián de Llano y la Cuadra

He was awarded the title of 1st Conde de Senafé on 8 August 1780, by King Carlos III of Spain being the brother of José Agustin de Llano y de la Cuadra, (October 1722 - March 1794), 1st Marqués de Llano, title awarded by King Carlos III of Spain on 23 April 1780, both being nephews of Sebastián de la Cuadra, 1st Marquis of Villarías, (1687 - 1766), First Secretary of State with King Felipe V of Spain, (1736 - 1746),


Rionegro

In 1783, Rionegro had become like a municipality, resulting in becoming the City of Santiago de Arma de Rionegro in 1786, with administrative powers under certification of King Carlos III, issued in the Palace of San Idelfonso on 25 September 1786.

Tekna

In May 30, 1767, Mohammed ben Abdallah (Sultan of Morocco) signed a peace & commerce treaty with the Spanish King Carlos III recognizing that he doesn't have control over the Tekna tribes.
