Charlie Ward (born 1970), American professional basketball player, Heisman trophy winner
In his senior year at Florida State, he also served as Student Government Vice-President, after he was asked to run by the Monarchy Party, a student government reform organization.
As a sophomore in 1993, he was the snapper for quarterback Charlie Ward and a member of the Seminoles' Bowl Coalition national championship team that defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers 18–16 in the Orange Bowl.
It regularly interviews former college stars such as Tee Martin, Charlie Ward, Ki-Jana Carter, Ed O'Bannon, Corliss Williamson and Mateen Cleaves.
One of the highlights of his college career came when he broke up Charlie Ward's final pass, resulting in Notre Dame's (ranked #2 at the time) defeat of the Florida State (ranked #1 at the time) in a nationally televised game in 1993 which was coined at that time the "Game of the Century".
Dunn's jersey, along with those of other Seminoles players such as Fred Biletnikoff, Ron Sellers, Ron Simmons, Charlie Ward, Deion Sanders, and Chris Weinke, has been retired by the university.
