Soon after the end of the 2006-07 season after a bad injury, Jordan was then picked up by Chorley, scoring five goals in twelve appearances before moving to Kendal Town, under Lee Ashcroft, scoring on his debut in a 2-2 draw in his only game for them.
Following a couple of years with Leigh RMI, he retired from the game at Chorley in 2009, so as to concentrate on his work with the prison service.
During his time with Chorley, he almost signed for AFC Bournemouth, then managed by Harry Redknapp before a leg injury kept him out of action for almost 2 years.
As well as having a spell in Hong Kong with Sing Tao he has played at a Non-league level for Weymouth, Southport, Burscough and Northwich Victoria before moving into management with the two latter clubs, as well as having a spell in charge of Chorley.

Between February 2005 and August 2006, Teale managed Northern Premier League First Division side Chorley, before leaving to run his pub and restaurant business in Burscough.
