To date Green Sod Land Trust has been donated a five acre site located in Clonmore County Carlow where ongoing projects are being undertaken.

After King Henry VIII's death he eventually became an English member of parliament and a member of the privy council under the rule of King Edward VI, and in 1547 took part in some military operations in Ireland, during which time he may have rebuilt Leighlinbridge Castle in County Carlow.
South of Tinahely it turns sharply and flows southwest through Shillelagh, briefly forming the border between County Wicklow and County Wexford, before becoming the border between County Wexford and County Carlow.
