John W. Skinner

John William Skinner (26 November 1890 – 1 April 1955) was a distinguished Headmaster of Culford School between 1924 and 1951.

William McFee

Educated at Culford School, he became a mechanical engineer at Richard Moreland & Sons and W. Summerscales & Sons in the City, before going to sea as a marine engineer in 1906.


Dick Joice

A farmer's son, Joice was educated at Culford School before taking over his father’s tenancy on the Norfolk estate of the Marquess Townshend in 1940.

Philip Johnson-Laird

He was educated at Culford School and University College London where he won the Rosa Morison Medal in 1964 and a James Sully Scholarship between 1964–66.
