With her translations, she also introduced notable Catalan authors, such as Pere Calders, Jesús Moncada, Josep Vicenç Foix, Lluís Maria Todó and Jaume Cabré to the Slovenian cultural scene.
It served as residence of Baron Sigmund Zois, a leading figure of Enlightenment in the Slovene Lands of the Austrian monarchy and supporter of the revival of Slovene culture and literature.
