Grazier left the University of Chicago in 1956, and relocated to Birmingham, Michigan where she took on the role of head librarian at Derby High School.
A native of Connecticut, he was a member of the first graduating class of Birmingham High School in Derby, Connecticut (now Derby High School) in 1877.
