He is known for composing music for the popular games Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, World of Warcraft, StarCraft (all of which he also performed voice acting for), and StarCraft: Brood War, and for sound design on Diablo II and Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

When composing for the orchestra, Brower tried to respect the Wagnerian style from the expansion to the second game in the series, Lord of Destruction.
He was also the voice of the Paladin in the game Diablo II.
He is also responsible for programming on Diablo II, the development of the Battle.net game server network, and the Quake 2 mod Loki's Minions Capture the Flag.
