Mainly used as a test track, it holds races, practices and special events for all types of motor vehicles, including motorcycles, Porsche, Dodge Viper, and professional race car drivers of all types and levels.
Some of the cars that were scheduled to compete included the Chevrolet Corvette, the Dodge Viper, and the Ford Mustang.
The transmission was originally designed and built by Borg-Warner for the Dodge Viper later being used by GM in 1992 for the generation II and later engines, but as of 1998, is built by Tremec, though nothing changed internally.
