A large portion of his extensive library of music is currently held by Drury University in Springfield, Missouri.
Young Fred was educated in the national schools of the Creek Nation then went off to study at St. Francis Institute in Osage, Kansas, Drury College (now Drury University) (Springfield, Missouri), Gem City Business College (Quincy, Illinois), and Young Harris College in Georgia.
There were numerous reports of tree and roof damage throughout Springfield, prompting some business to close, and caused Drury University to cancel some morning classes.
Westenberg is now living with his wife, daughters Emily and Katherine, and son Joe in Springfield, Missouri, where he is Chair of the Theatre Dept. at Drury University.

Born in Villa Ridge, Missouri, Reinberg attended St. Francis Borgia High School, played club soccer for the Maryland Heights Stars, and played college soccer at Drury University, where he was an All-Great Lakes Valley Conference Honorable mention selection and All-Great Lakes Region Third Team pick as a sophomore in 2006, and earned All-Conference First Team honors as a junior in 2007.
