Asia House, Manchester

Asia House at No. 82 Princess Street, Manchester, England, is an early 20th-century packing and shipping warehouse built between 1906 and 1909 in an Edwardian Baroque style.

James Williamson, 1st Baron Ashton

After the death of his second wife, Jessie, who supported him in his political life, he built the Ashton Memorial on a hill in the park; the Edwardian baroque building is now used for exhibitions and for weddings.

Ship Canal House

The building was designed by Harry S Fairhurst in a neo-classical style and displays some Art Deco and Edwardian Baroque motifs such as square windows and roof sculptures which were prevalent during the 1920s.
