He left Ebbsfleet in June 2008, after participating in a successful The Four Nations Tournament campaign with England C, when he failed to agree a new deal with the Fleet.
Bridges was named in the England C team, who represent England at non-League level, in January 2006, for a friendly against Italy C, staged at Cambridge's Abbey Stadium, his home ground at the time.
In June 2013, Franks was selected for the England C national team and won his first cap in a 6–1 victory over Bermuda.
He made his England C team debut on 4 June 2013, coming on as a half time substitute and scoring a hat-trick against Bermuda at the Bermuda National Stadium.
