For the Apertura 2007 season they changed stadium to Estadio Municipal Santa Rosa de Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, but have stated that some of their home games will still played at their traditional home in twice worldcup host Estadio Jalisco.
For the Apertura 2006 season, Chivas placed eighth in the league table and qualified for the knock-out stage (the "Liguilla") by defeating Veracruz 2-1 in Veracruz and 4-0 in the Estadio Jalisco in a wild card series.
Reynolds has played in several international exhibitions including in July 2005 with Portland Timbers in a friendly against Sunderland of the English Premier League; friendly matches with Chivas USA against Mexican Primera A sides Necaxa in October 2006 in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and Chivas Guadalajara at Estadio Jalisco in November 2007; and on August 2, 2008 for Miami FC in a friendly match against the Haiti national football team in Miami.
