He was one of the most talented players found by Gholam Hossein Peyrovani in Fajr and like all the other youth players soon left the team heading for Sepahan but he had an unsuccessful season in this club and he moved to Esteghlal.
He was a regular player in 2008–09 for Esteghlal and was one of the key players.He stayed in Esteghlal for another two season where he had to compete with Mohammad Mohammadi for the place in the team.
