In the summer of 2007, Salihovic trained with Bosnian Premijer Liga club FK Željeznicar, which is based in the Bosnian capital of Sarajevo.
On the club level, he played for Sarajevo, Čelik Zenica, Željezničar Sarajevo, Maribor and Olimpija Ljubljana.
He was spotted there in 1988, by FK Željezničar Sarajevo and soon moved to this top division club where he played 87 games and scored 16 goals.
Jugović started his career in Serbia at local club FK Napredak Kruševac and in 2006 signed for FK Željezničar Sarajevo, one of the best clubs in the former Yugoslavia.
Nikić, born to father Ilija and mother Radojka, started his career in the lower leagues with FK Modriča and NK Zvijezda Gradačac before joining FK Željezničar Sarajevo.
He represented a number of domestic clubs, having played with all of them, beside Second League FK Radnički Pirot, in the Yugoslav First League, namely, FK Željezničar Sarajevo, FK Vojvodina, FK Sarajevo, NK Olimpija Ljubljana, NK Dinamo Zagreb and FK Sutjeska Nikšić.
Sulejman Smajić (born 25 June 1984 in Jajce, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian footballer who plays as a winger for FK Željezničar Sarajevo and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
