As of 2007, the Centre has 112 full-time staff (26 senior, 28 mid-level and 46 junior professionals), and has four field offices in Khulna, Faridpur, Jessore and Rajshahi lying outside its Dhaka headquarter.
It can be divided into further sub-zones: (1) the Faridpur Trough; (2) the Barisal High; (3) the Hatiya Trough; (4) the Sylhet Trough; and (5) the Madhupur High.
Bhanga Pilot High School (Bengali: ভাঙ্গা পাইলট উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়) also known as Bhanga High School, is an educational institution in Bhanga, Fardipur, Bangladesh established in 1889.
It takes off from the Ganges not far from Kushtia, and after flowing in a south-easterly direction, past Kumarkhali and Khoksa, passes over the border into the Goalundo subdivision of Faridpur District.
The main force was Mukti Bahini, led by General M. A. G. Osmani; but other little forces worked in limited areas, such as, Kaderiya Bahini in Tangail zone under Kader Siddique and Hemayet Bahini in Faridpur zone under Hemayet Uddin.
The freedom fighters from this camp fought against the Pakistan Army in the eastern part of Faridpur, Noakhali, part of Comilla and Dhaka city.
It was named by the renowned ruler Raja Shurjoprashad Sen. It was a part of Faridpur District before.
The initiative of establishing the school was mainly taken by the prominent educationist of the district, Abdul Hamid, the then president of the Primary Teachers Association of Faridpur district and headmaster of Domrakandi Ideal Government Primary School.
