Luboš Kubík

He was appointed manager of the English Football League Two side Torquay United on 27 November 2006 through his close friendship with Torquay chairman Chris Roberts.

Nuno Miguel Gomes

At the end of the 2008–09 season, in which he scored seven league goals for the latter, he had an unsuccessful trial with Luton Town in the Football League Two, but eventually moved to U.D. Leiria which had freshly returned to division one.


2009–10 Oldham Athletic A.F.C. season

On 15 August 2009, the First Round draw for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy 2009–10 was made on Soccer AM, where Oldham was drawn against League Two club Accrington Stanley.

AJ Leitch-Smith

He made his debut on 29 September 2009 for Crewe Alexandra in their 3–2 home defeat to Bury in the League Two, replacing Joel Grant in the 80th minute as a substitute.

Chris Casper

Casper then went into management and took charge of Team Bath in 2002 before moving to Football League Two club Bury for three years.

Cross-border derby

Between 1986 and 2005, the sides were in the same division in just one season (1994–95) but they were then Football League Two opponents in the three campaigns from 2005–06 to 2007–08.

Dean Gordon

Gordon signed with Football League Two side Grimsby Town on a free transfer on August 2004, his first club outside of the top two tiers of English football, but despite holding down a regular place in the team he was released in March 2005 by Russell Slade.

Joel Logan

He made his professional debut on 20 October 2012, in a 3–1 defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the Football League Two, coming on as a substitute for Peter Cavanagh.

Simon Osborn

He picked up ten yellow cards and two goals in his 36 appearances in 2005–06, as Walsall finished last and suffered relegation into League Two; this was to prove to be his last season at the Bescot Stadium.
