In October 1978, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Saab came to an agreement to develop their own executive cars from the Type Four platform to compete with the likes of the Ford Granada and Opel Rekord (Vauxhall Carlton) as well as premium products from the likes of BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
It began operations in 1972, assembling Ford models like the Cortina, Escort, and Granada.
In 1963, the company became the Ford Philippines Corporation (FPC) Production began in 1967 with the Fiera AUV, Escort sedan, Cortina sedan and Granada sedan.
In the first series,Terry drives a dark navy blue Mk2 Ford Granada.
