After the match UltraMantis was attacked by Sinn Bodhi and his allies in The Batiri, but were eventually chased out of the ring by Incoherence, after Frightmare managed to convince Hallowicked to save his long–time rival.
Vane went on to direct the 1983 film, Frightmare, and continue contributing to writing films including The Black Room in 1984.
Allmovie called the film "a credible addition to the director's oeuvre – sometimes reminiscent of Dolls or Pete Walker's creepy punishment gothics (Frightmare, House of Whipcord, etc.) – and fans should give it a look".
