The ensemble has already won prizes at the Geneva International Music Competition, at the International Chamber Music Competition in Osaka or at the Migros Chamber Music Competition in Switzerland.
In 1977, she took first prize at the Concours International de Chant de Paris by unanimous decision of the jury, while a year earlier having won first prize at the Geneva International Music Competition.
In the meantime Dorner won the 1949 Concours de Geneve and the 1952 Vercelli's Viotti competition.

Her students have also become top prizewinners in competitions such as Geneva, the Casals Competition (Budapest), Tchaikovsky (Russia), Markneukirchen (Germany) and the Concert Artist Guild (U.S.).
She also was invited as a judge for the International Tchaikovsky Competition, George Enescu International Music Competition in Romania, Concours International de Long-Thibaud, the International Music Competition of Japan, and Geneva International Music Competition.
