The Faxi (or Vatnsleysufoss) waterfall is located on the Golden Circle, a popular tourist trail east of Reykjavik.

Together with Þingvellir and the Gullfoss waterfall, they are part of the Golden Circle that make up the most famous tourist route in the country.
