He later served as an associate producer for Ivan Reitman's 1986 film Legal Eagles and went to produce Gorillas in the Mist, and The Good Mother, both released in 1988.
He starred in several international productions including Tai-Pan with Joan Chen, Gorillas in the Mist with Sigourney Weaver, and Cocktail with Tom Cruise.
These CDs were, in the early days, whimsically titled using punning references to various movies but with a coding twist; for example, "The Hexorcist" (The Exorcist), "Lord of the Files" (Lord of the Flies), "Gorillas in the Disc" (Gorillas in the Mist), etc.
Following her acclaimed performance in Aliens, Weaver starred in two highly successful films of 1988: a lead role in Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey and a supporting role in Working Girl.
The album title is a pun on the popular movie title Gorillas in the Mist and guerrilla warfare.
