Older brother Michael Henrich, drafted 13th overall by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft, is currently playing in the Italian Serie A for HC Asiago while simultaneously completing his undergraduate degree with York University.
After one more season with Wolfsburg in the DEL, Henrich signed with Lega Italiana Hockey Ghiaccio club HC Asiago.
