Nedvěd started his professional hockey career with IHC Písek and HC Liberec before joining HC Sparta Prague in 1990 for one season.
In 2003 Jiruš joined HC Liberec and left the club on 25 April 2009 after six year to sign with BK Mladá Boleslav.
