2 unusual facts about Help For Heroes


Hey Ma

On 19 March 2008, the second track, entitled "Hey Ma", was previewed when it was used as the music for a YouTube video made in aid of the charity Help for Heroes.

Temple One

Being a 100% charity release, the money generated from the release is donated to wounded soldiers and their families through the British charity program Help for Heroes.


Linzi Stoppard

In September 2010, Linzi held Fashion For The Brave in London for Help for Heroes, the Household Cavalry Operational Casualties Fund, and ABF - The Soldiers Charity.

Mark Sutcliffe

Sgt Mark Sutcliffe is one of the Hero patrons of Help for Heroes, a member of Blesma and was one of four Military Liaison Officers posted to Selly Oak Hospital, looking after the needs of injured soldiers and their families.

Pocket Venus

The band are also supporting various charities including rereleasing their E.P Tell Me Why for Help For Heroes, and also playing gigs to support the Oxjam Music Festival.

The Hotties have attended many events in order to raise both their own profile and that of Help for Heroes' including: playing wheelchair basketball with injured soldiers at Phoenix House, Catterick; vising Tedworth House, Tidworth to see where the money raised will be spent; and visiting Accrington Stanley Football Club to raise money and Mallory Park, Lincolnshire with Mission Motorsport.
