The central platform (tracks 2 and 3) is serves primarily by Hessische Landesbahn services on the Gießen–Gelnhausen railway to Giessen via Nidda, Hungen and Lich and to the south towards Gelnhausen via Büdingen.
The public transport is operated under contract to the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund (Rhine-Main Transport Association, RMV) by DB Regio and Hessische Landesbahn.
There is also an hourly Regionalbahn service on the Gießen–Wetzlar–Weilburg–Limburg route, which since the 2011/2012 timetable change has been operated by Hessische Landesbahn.
