Hockey Canada, formally known as the Canadian Hockey Association, the governing body for ice hockey in Canada
Today, each year the Gordon Juckes Award is given by Hockey Canada to a person who has made exceptional contributions to the development of amateur hockey.
The team was founded with the school in 2005 as part of a unique and elite training program for hockey players based on the Hockey Canada development program.
In 2009, after a 16 year hiatus, Hockey Canada approved the revival of the Huskies, and the team was subsequently sanctioned by the British Columbia Amateur Hockey Association to compete during the 2009-10 season.

Schenn started his Hockey Canada career by representing Saskatchewan at the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon where his team finished 7th.
In The Game also signed licensing deals with the CHL, the AHL and Hockey Canada to use players and logos from these organizations in their products.
