A native of Belfast, Kyle was club secretary (overseeing the whole club including coaching/training) at Distillery in the Irish League from June 1897 to 1905.
FC Dinaburg Daugavpils were eliminated from the Baltic League 2007 due to violation of Fair Play rules, but they once again qualified for the Intertoto Cup, where they started against Irish League team Cliftonville, but they lost 2–1 on aggregate, losing at home 1–0 after a 1–1 draw in Belfast.
Twentyman featured in 184 matches scoring 19 goals before leaving Liverpool, he went on to became Player/Manager of Irish side Ballymena United, ironically and maybe a little unluckily, he left the Reds just 9 months before the arrival of his former boss, Shankly.
Little is currently the host of Sky Sports's coverage of Northern Ireland international football and Northern Ireland Premiership matches and also presents regularly on Sky Sports News.
In the summer of 2009 he had a trial with Hungarian side Ferencváros and had been linked with a move to the IFA Premiership.
In 1984–85, he finished second in the European Golden Shoe race, to F.C. Porto's Fernando Gomes, scoring 34 league goals in 26 matches (56 overall), and failing to add more as his season was cut short due to a severe knee injury.
