Currently, he is a life member of United Services Institute(UIS), a member of advisory panel of the India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, chairman of the Middle East Institute in New Delhi, director of National Maritime Foundation, and a frequent(guest) lecturer at the Indian National Defence college, including other military colleges.
There are several places to visit in the vicinity such as the Sai Baba Temple of Lodhi Road, Khan Market, Jor Bagh, the 16th century Tomb of Sikander Lodhi, situated in Lodhi Gardens and the India Habitat Centre.
